Jigsaw

Our aim is to provide your child with a stimulating, happy, secure and homely environment. We also aim to add to the life and well-being of our local community. We encourage a partnership between the parents and the staff, Which benefit the children's development and learning.

Registration

Jigsaw is registered with OFSTED, and is inspected when necessary. This helps to maintain the high quality of service we provide.

Staffing and Qualifications

Our staff work together as a team and are all registered with OFSTED.

The staff who work at Jigsaw and their qualifications are:

We Aim for all staff to undertake courses run by Sheffield Early Years education and Child Care Service.                               

We also work with other professionals regularly within the setting to help with staff training and development e.g Early Years Inclusion Team, Health Visitors,Development Workers ect. Staff training is continuous to keep up to date with current or NVQ equivalent.

Someone qualified in basic first aid will be on hand at all times.

The Daycare has a key worker system. This means that each member of Staff has a group of children for whom she/he is particularly responsible. Your child's key worker will be the person who works with you to make sure that what the Daycare provides is right for your child's particular needs and interests. When Your child first starts at the Daycare, she/he will help  your child to settle in, and throughout your child's time at the Daycare , She/he will help your child benefit from the daycares activities.

Your child's key worker will be responsible for all their documentation e.g development assessment's and observation records.

Breakfast Club

We will be open from 8am, and the breakfast will be served buffet-style, with a healthy choice of cereal, toast and fruit.

The cost of the club will be £4 per day.

There will also be a range of indoor and outdoor activities to ease your child into the day. You must book your child in at least the day before, ideally a week before they attend.
